This is made using a fused glass casting technique where thin layers of glass are melted together in a mould. It is then fired a second time to add the details of the image. The Mussel shells are transfered into the glass using a specialist kiln-safe material, and they're my own drawings. It is fired up to 800C in a specialist kiln.
