Trinket Dish - Light Aqua Crashing Wave

This gorgeous little dish measures 8.5 cm  x 8.5cm and can be used to hold jewellery, sweets, as a spoon rest, soap dish or just to look pretty. The crashing wave was inspired by the spectacular beaches surrounding my home studio in Cornwall. I love to leave lots of texture in my work, this increases the surface area to allow lots of light reflection. The main body of the wave is created using light aqua glass with the addition of aqua, turquoise and green frit, White frit is used to create the sea foam. 

Each piece is made without the use of machinery and templates so each one is unique. Your piece may vary slightly from the photograph. This piece has been fired twice in my specialist Glass kiln in my home studio for 13 hours each time.
