Large Hanger - Turquoise Crashing Wave

A fused glass hanger inspired by the Cornish seaside and coast, handmade in Cornwall in my home studio. 24cm long  by 6.5 cm wide with a nichrome hanging hook and rustic twine, this hanger can be hung from a window to allow light to pass through or against a plain wall, the textured glass still allows light to reflect and sparkle.  I use purely bullseye glass to ensure compatibility and layer powdered and crushed glass frit to create images before each piece is carefully fired for 13-15 hours.  

This crashing wave is made with primarily turquoise glass with dark aquamarine accents. The sea foam is very textured and helps to bring movement to the image.
