Fused Glass Framed Nearly Home Trees Conical Heart

This is made using a fused glass casting technique where thin layers of glass are melted together in a mould. It is then fired a second time to add the details of the image. It is fired up to 800C in a specialist kiln.

This image is inspired by the iconic "Nearly Home trees" on the Devon / Cornwall border at Lifton, also known as Cookworthy Knapp. Many weary travellers love this heartwarming image when arriving back in Cornwall.

The frame measures approx 18cm x 18cm.
