Trinket Dish - Sea scene with sailing boat

This gorgeous little dish measures 9cm x 9 cm and can be used to hold jewellery, sweets, as a spoon rest, soap dish or just to look pretty. The seascene was inspired by the spectacular views surrounding my studio in Cornwall. I love to leave lots of texture in my work, this increases the surface area to allow lots of light reflection.

The sea is calm and relaxing with light and dark aqua to create the lapping waves whilst three yachts sail past.  

Each piece is made without the use of machinery and templates so each one is unique. This piece has been fired twice in my specialist Glass kiln in my home studio for 13 hours each time.
